Robotics Club

During Term 2, 14 students from years 4-6 with a keen interest in robotics and coding were chosen to be a part of St Mary’s first robotics club. The robotics club was started with four main goals in mind:

• To teach students to work collaboratively in small groups and teams.
• To teach students how to design robots for specific activities and purposes.
• To teach students how to use Lego Mindstorms EV3 programming software.
• For students to apply the skills and knowledge gained in robotics club to teach and upskill their peers.

The students work with Miss Tagan three times a week, completing various building and programming challenges.
