I encourage all parents to consider getting involved with the school P and F. We welcome your presence at school, encourage you to become active partners in the faith life of the school community, and invite you to attend assemblies, liturgies and celebrations whenever it is possible. Involvement in school activities can vary from covering books, cooking sausages, helping move furniture and of course utilising your skills and talents.
Strong family/school partnership is one of the hallmarks of our school and I thank the many parents who came along to the Parent Information Night on Wednesday evening. Early, regular and personal communication really does make a difference to that partnership. I thank the many parents who have already made contact with their child’s classroom teacher to discuss particular learning needs for their children.
If you were unable to attend the Parent information sessions, please make another appropriate time to meet with your child’s class teacher for any important information regarding classroom procedures and routines.
I refer all parents to the Parent Communication Guide given to all parents on Wednesday evening.
Can I also refer parents both old and new to check the Stop, Kiss and Go procedures on our school website in the interest of safety for all students.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Xavier Glassie (room 14) and family as Xavier's grandfather passed away recently and to Mr Malcolm Bryan (our maintenance/groundsperson) as Malcolm's mother passed away recently.
Have a great week ahead,
Peace and Blessings
Rosie
