Hello St Mary’s Families!
It’s been a very busy few weeks in the Defence arena! Kids Club has been at capacity every Tuesday, we’ve been making colourful fish to decorate our space and this week everyone decorated a handy drawstring bag to take home.
The whole school has been helping out with a very special project for our ANZAC Day Liturgy on the 26th April, we can’t say too much but we think everyone will love it!
Rooms 14 and 15 have written some beautiful letters to send overseas to our deployed troops. It’s been so lovely to see the kids excited to write a letter to someone they don’t know, just to brighten their day, they’ve definitely been showing the meaning of Making Jesus Real. I’m so proud of the effort everyone put into this project. Letters will be sent shortly and we are eagerly awaiting replies!
