This year we had a number of students opting to participate in these assessments and as a school, were awarded a number of Distinction, Credit and Merit certificates which is a fantastic achievement. Congratulations to all those students who participated.

As a school we are so proud of all of the Grade 3 and 5 students who participated and completed the NAPLAN assessments. We are particularly excited as a school to announce that the mean for our school’s Grade 3 students was ABOVE the Australian mean in the areas of reading, writing, spelling and grammar. This is a wonderful achievement!
As a school we will be using these results to guide our future direction and goals for 2019. The data will be analysed to determine our strengths as a school and to identify areas of need which might be needing support. Please be mindful that NAPLAN results do not affect or have an impact on school grades or reports.
